Pasadena Waldorf School

ALTADENA, CA

The 1^st and 2^nd grade classroom building was to be the first in a series of structures to fulfill a pre-established master plan for the Pasadena Waldorf School. Designed to the pedagogy of Rudolf Steiner which emphasizes the holistic development of the child, the polygonal spaces create an embracing yet flexible environment with modulated light to support the early childhood activities of hands-on exploration and creative play.
