A floating dining room perches on the pylon. Together they become the organizing elements for a layering of interpenetrating solids, voids and planes that helps to mitigate the severe relationship between house and garden. 

Inside, an existing open-plan of kitchen, dining and living spaces is reshaped into discreet areas, large and small, that capture various views.

An open tread stair leads to a glassed-in study that begins a sequential retreat into the primary bedroom suite.
